Richmond Championship show 2009
Congratulations to Sian Jones who bred the winner of the minor puppy class today Sianworth Rustic Charmer (Ted) .Sired by Seamus this was this sable boys first championship show and he has qualified for Crufts 2010 and Border Collie Pup Of the Year Also huge congratulations to Maggie and Quando who won special yearling dog and Mr and Mrs Pepper who won yearling bitch with S.Special song for pedmore.What a great day

We were very proud to watch S.Special Song for Pedmore owned by Mr and Mrs Pepper qualify for Crufts 2010.Congratulations
At the same show Seamus got 2nd in limit dog and his mum Chloe won the veteran bitch class.

Congratulations to Seamus's daughter SIANWORTH MAGICAL DREAMS bred and owned by Sian Jones who won first place in minor puppy bitch at this show .Its her first Champ show and she qualified for Pup of the Year and Crufts .Her litter brother SIANWORTH MAGICAL SPELL owned by Katrina Rettie also qualified for Crufts with a third in minor puppy dog .

We had a great day at this show .Lovely friendly atmosphere and very well organised .Great food and the weather was kind .
Lottie got a res in puppy bitch
Garden got 3rd in graduate bitch
Lucy got aVHC in open bitch
Chloe won the AOC class and then challenged for best veteran bitch ( well she is 11 and 1/2 ).She then challenged the dog foe best veteran in show and WON IT !
and the icing on the cake ...she was handled by Mariah who is only 13 .The rosettes she won were as big as the smile on her face .
Thank you to the judges who thought so highly of her

Friday 22/05/2009 Eyetesting
I took Jezabell, Chloe and Jill to have their Goniodysgenesis tests .All were tested unaffected .Lucy had her annual eyetest and everthing was fine .Garden had both tests and again everything was normal.Neffa had both tests and was tested normal.
So a good if expensive day

This is our new baby .Officially Bordercreek Gypsy Isobella (NAF) she is Chloes grandaughter .Her father is Starside Max at Bordercreek and her dam is Darabrigg Keriam Lass.Bred by Tracy and Ivan of Bordercreek she is a delight

Robbie ( Magreena Red Admiral) got a third place in the Scttish Border Collie Club Championship Show ta Larkhall today.This qualifies him for crufts 2009 .The judge was breed specialist Ann Layte ( Pittinsair )

We went for a weekend break to Belfast .What a weekend !
Stella got a 4th place in limit bitch and Lucy ...won the open bitch class got the bitch CC and got best opposite sex .The judge was breed specialist Karen Angiers . This is Lucy's second CC

Today Seamus ( S.Paddy ) won the post graduate class under the all rounder Mr S. Hall.He then went on to win the Reserve CC .Once again handled by Mariah

STARSIDE SPECIAL SONG FOR PEDMORE own by Mr and Mrs Pepper won the minor puppy bitch class and came second in the puppy bitch class. This not only qualifies her for Crufts but also qualifies her for tHe Border Collie puppy of the year .

Just heard that Starside Cerys Matthews at Cochochr has had a sucessful day at Newport Agricultural Society Open Show in shropshire . She won the junior class and got Best Puppy in Breed and then went Puppy Group 1

A disaster at Blackpool Championship show . The show had to be abandoned due to gales blowing the marques down/over. http://www.blackpoolgazette.co.uk/blackpoolnews/Blackpool-dog-show-terror.4211670.jp
The above link shows the devastation caused . I wasn't happy with the wind so as each dog came out of the ring it was put back in the van with all it's equipment ready for a quick get away . We were judged i Tent A ( one of the ones that didn't come down )
I'm please to say that Garden ( Calykiz Midnight Dancer got a Reserve in the MPB class . Not bad for her first show
